Luca (or Luka), pronounced "LOO-kah", is a male given name used mainly in Italy, Germany, and Romania derived from the Latin name Lucas, a possible translation of Ancient Greek Loukas (Λουκᾶς) meaning "(one) from Lucania" (an ancient region of southern Italy) or the name is derived from the Latin word "lux" (light). It may also come from the Latin word "lucus" meaning "sacred wood" (a cognate of lucere), or from another Greek word λύκος, lykos meaning "wolf". The name is common among Christians as a result of Luke the Evangelist. Luca is also a Hungarian and Croatian female given name, but pronounced differently as "LOO-tsah" the equivalent of the English name Lucy. ==List of people with the given name Luca== * Luca Pacioli, Italian mathematician and the establisher of accounting, and considered the father of double-entry accounting * Luca Badr, Egyptian football player * Luca Belcastro, Italian composer * Luca Caputi, Canadian ice hockey player * Luca Caragiale, Romanian poet * Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, President of Ferrari * Luca della Robbia, Sculptor * Luca Napolitano, Italian singer * Luca Pasqualino, English actor, credited as Luke Pasqualino * Luca "Lazylegz" Patuelli, Canadian hip hop dancer * Luca Prodan, Argentine musician * Luca Sbisa, Swiss ice hockey player * Luca Toni, Italian football player * Luca Turilli, Italian musician and composer Luca Brecel, Belgian professional snooker player ;Fictional people * Luca, a minor character in the video game ''Final Fantasy IV'' * Luca Blight, one of the major antagonists in the video game ''Suikoden II'' * Luca Brasi, a fictional character from the film and novel ''The Godfather'' * Luca Raregroove, a major enemy in the Japanese manga–anime series ''Rave Master'' *Luca Gurino, an antagonistic character in the video game Mafia 2 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Luca (given name)」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
